Switch from lighter moisturizers to richer lotions or creams.
For an intensive treatment, mix moisturizers with some drops of natural oils or go for the oil on its own.
Use rich lip balms with colour instead of lipstick or lip gloss. Lipstick can cause dry lips in the cold and lip gloss can cause sunburn damages.
Wait inside for at least 20-30 minutes when applying hydrating moisturizers at temperatures of 0 degrees and colder. Sensitive and thin facial skin can suffer from veins bursting through the mix of extreme cold temperatures and water that isn’t yet absorbed by your cells.
